Directions

You can travel to Findhorn by air, train, bus and car. Once you arrive in Findhorn, a one-way system operates. Follow the road along the Findhorn bay side (passing the Kimberly Inn). Then follow the road down the side of the Crown & Anchor Inn and take the first turning to the left. The Culbin Sands apartments are further up on the right hand side. BY CAR

Findhorn is signposted on the Forres bypass and there are two routes you can take by road, either:

Take the A9 from Perth to Inverness and then take the A96 to Forres.
Take the A90 from Perth to Aberdeen and then take the A96 to Forres.

BY TRAIn

The local train station is Forres. There are good rail connections from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen. There are sleeper trains from London to Inverness and Aberdeen, with connections to Forres.

Public buses run from Forres Train Station to the town centre. From Forres town centre, you can get the 31 bus to Findhorn, which takes about 20 minutes (please note there is not a Sunday service of this bus).

BY BUS

Regular buses link Inverness Bus Station with Forres. From Forres town centre, you can get the 31 bus to Findhorn, which takes about 20 minutes (please note there is not a Sunday service of this bus). Express coaches run to the main cities of Scotland and the rest of the United Kingdom.

BY AIR

There are regular flights to Inverness and Aberdeen airports from many UK and international airports, including:

Inverness airport is approximately 30 miles from Findhorn. Take the Jet 11 to Forres, getting off at St Leonards Church. You can take the number 31 bus to Findhorn or hire a taxi. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the airport to Findhorn.

Aberdeen airport is about 75 miles from Findhorn. Take the number 80 bus to Dyce Train Station where you can connect to the train service that runs from Aberdeen to Inverness, and stops at Forres Train Station.
